DIY Camera Strap and Lens Cap Keeper

You all know I don't have girls in the house.
The only hair I do is my own.
The only cute clothes are mine.
Well that did change on Christmas day I have you know.  I got my girl. And my girl needed some style..she was kind of like a tom boy when she first arrived..but Boys - watch out...

***HOTTIE ALERT***

Look at her..she is so gosh darn sassy I tell you! I went with a fun lime green strap, ruffled out with some stylin' rosette embellishments.

You can find the full tutorial to make it over at my girl Mom 4 Real blog! This lady is amazing..so crazy in the talent department-- so poke around when you are over there!

My favorite part..the rosettes. Honestly I had never made one of these. They are so simple and complete the strap!

Then I decided to put her "face on" - This lens cap keeper just finishes up the look.

There is that rosette again! I went with one big one {the size of the cap} and glued that baby on! Then I tied it on to a clip..attach it to the camera- and you are set! You will never lose that lens cap again!

OK and big secret here. My husband thought he was going to take this girl out backpacking. First of all, she is not old enough...just cutting her first teeth. But now he won't even touch her! Too Girly for him! Score!
