Summer Break is over {the crowd boos}
We are heading back to School Tomorrow!
I wanted to add some "mom love" for their first day back. Just so they knew I was thinking of them and wished them a great day in their exciting new grades!
I created a Lunch Note printable!
Easy to print, cut, fill out and...
Plop in their lunches!

Are you kiddos starting school soon?
What do you do to break the ice for a new School year?
I do know one thing, I am wearing dark sunglasses in the classroom {not because I am a Rockstar, more like a Big Baby} as I will be balling my eyes out dropping Derek off to Kinder! I am excited, but sad and yes the thought having another baby has entered my mind...but that's a No - As this to shall pass!
Wishing all your kids a great first day back!

These are so cute, Jen! Hope you make it through his first day of kindergarten! I was a hotttt mess!
ReplyDeleteCute notes! I had a hard time letting my baby go on the first day of kindergarten last year as well. I was blessed that one if my high school friends was his teacher. Defdinatly made it a little easier.
ReplyDeleteThose are so sweet! Your guys are so adorable. :) Megan PS I realize that it's not the best word to describe an 8th grader...but you know what I mean..ha.
ReplyDeleteCute notes! We start back to school this week too! I always sneak fun notes into my daughter's lunch. She is a senior this year, but that won't stop me! :)
ReplyDeleteHead's up buddy, that feeling you have when you drop your first, second, last whatever kid off at their first day of school? It returns a few years later when they move out...for the first time. No one ever warned me so I thought I owed it to you to let you know to keep those dark glasses handy...it ain't over ♥ Cah-Ute notes BTW! Wish my boys were younger again :-( Now they are having babies! Ack! Seriously, I'm only 29 how can that be???
ReplyDeleteLove these. And I was balling on the first day of school too as I sent my baby off to Kindergarten this year.....another baby does sound good right now.
ReplyDeleteYes Yes Jen!! Have another baby!!! It is so fun!!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are starting school super early!! We don't start until September 4th!! I am getting nervous about Kaity's big first day at Kinder too. It will be tough and I have pregger emotions too. double whammy!!!!
This is so great! I hope you will link this up to The CSI Project this week starting tomorrow night. I always enjoy seeing your projects!
ReplyDeleteDee, The CSI Girl
Saying hi from the hop- this is such a great idea, though I have to admit I am not ready for making lunches! THanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat handsome boys!!! If you lived near me, I'd have you over for a Boo-Hoo Breakfast after drop-off. Maybe you should go to Starbucks ; ) I'm thinking ahead to next year, when my third (and last) will be starting Kinder *sniff* so bittersweet!
ReplyDeleteYour boys are so cute!! I'm totally doing these lunch notes when my girls are in school! I was always so jealous of kids who had notes in their lunch back in the day. :) I know the last kindergarten drop off will be tough! If we lived near each other I would invite you over for a dance party and it would be epic! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're the best Mommy!! What a great idea!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this at The DIY Dreamer.. From Dream To Reality!
Great idea! Your boys will love it when they open their lunch boxes. When I was raising my kids, I would periodically do the same thing - just an "I love you" or a happy face to get them through the day.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! Just shared on our Facebook page! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Trish
Love the pics Jen! Your boys sure are handsome!
ReplyDeleteFree printable, super proud of you! Need to post a tutorial now.
Love ya bunches, jen
What an awesome printable! I need to add these to the twins lunches! Thanks so much for inspiring me today!
ReplyDeleteblessings,
karianne
You're such a fun mommy! We've got 2 weeks left of summer fun and I can't wait!!! Uh...I mean...my kids are so excited! :)
ReplyDeleteCute! My son never wanted notes, but i got reamed by my daughter who said she was the only kid in class without one!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea and a great way to make the first day of school special! We have one week left till school starts and I'm not ready for the kids to go back. It seems like the summers keep getting shorter the older we get. As for your children's first day, wear your dark glasses proud! I also bawled when my youngest started Kindergarten...he is now a 7th grader. :-)
ReplyDeleteFirst, your boys are so stinkin' adorable!!! And ... so is the printable, what a sweet idea. Here's to another successful school year!!
ReplyDeleteI love these:) I don't have kids in school anymore but I am forwarding this link to my daughter who also has three boys who never quit playing baseball:) And school starts soon. I am now following you via Linky and now I am off to check out your other posts:)
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of your boys! Total heart-breakers :) I know what you mean about the dark glasses. Justin waited until second grade to decide he didn't like school and I would leave in tears more days than I can count with the teacher having to hold him so he wouldn't chase me down the street. Of course he's 16 now and I am excited he started last week (him not so much) and my daughter is starting college next week. I can't tell you where the time goes because I can still remember dropping her off at Kindergarten and it was last week, right?
Loved the printable notes. I used to write them on post-its most days while they were in elementary school.
Have a great week :)
Michelle
Umm, your blog is absolutely adorable! I'm so glad you found me, so we could connect and get to know each other more :) Hooray for being blog friends!!
ReplyDeleteComing over from Facebook! This is a GREAT idea! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet note! My sweetie pie started 5th grade last week. I can't believe he still wants me to walk him into class! Should take advantage of that until I just can't any more!
ReplyDelete...the girls better watch out with those handsome boys!!!
DeleteHow cute! I wish they had all these cute clever ideas when my boys were smaller! Those boys of yours sure are cute.
