Fresh Peach Pie

Summer has officially started in Temecula! We are kicking 95 all week, sweating like Pigs!
Our Peach Tree has produced some nice Fresh Peaches so a Pie making day was in Order!

Each of our boys have a fruit tree they picked out in the backyard. Mason's Peach Tree was a hit this year, so Peach Pie it was!

It was fun, I for once was able to sit back with the camera and take shots, while Grandma and Mason did their thing!

First things First: Picking Peaches

What a great Harvest this year!

Fresh Peach Pie Recipe

Crust: 1/2 c. soft butter, 1/3 c. powder sugar, 1 c. flour    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 mins.

Filling: 1 c sugar, 2 T. Cornstarch {stir in 1 c. boiling water} 4 T. Peach Jello

Slice: 6 medium peaches

Refrigerate until set, serve with cool whip! Enjoy!

1. Make your Crust and Let Cool
2. Grandma and Mason are getting the "gel" ready
3. Getting the Gel on the Oven
4. Stir for 1 min. after a rapid boil starts
{cool gel while you slice the peaches}

5. Mason slicing the juicy peaches
6. Add the gel and scoop into the pie crust
7. Let it set in the refrigerator

Then...

And Then...

Yep. It's Delicious!

I will be Serving up Slices HERE!

  13. Ummm- yum. Drooling over here- I'm jealous. You'd think living in GA I'd be able to find decent peaches, but sadly no- they must export all the good ones and leave the rock hard ones in state. Maybe I just need to plant my own peach tree!! :)

  27. Wow, I'm not even that big into pie and that looks amazing! how cool that you have peaches growing right there! Is that a blessing or do you have to take extra care of the tree all year to get the best peaches? not much is in bloom here other than crispy fried grass-- I love this recipe though! You rocked it! xoxo
