Organizing that Board Game Closet-Yikes!

Welcome to the Board Game Closet of Doom!
May the Force be with you that you don't get bonked in the head by Bop It
while getting down Chute's n Ladder!

What's that? You want to see the full view... well if you insist:

Holy Moly! Check out that Craziness!
(I even took off the Closet Doors to give you the FULL effect)
Sweet Aren't I!?

Let me back up by saying. This has been on my TO DO list for at least a year now! I kept putting it off and off. When I heard that Costco was selling these Awesome Clear Storage containers that was my Green Light to get this job Done!
Costco $19.99 Each
(Best 40 bucks I ever Spent)...oh you just Wait!

Yep. Another Broken Box. Pieces come flying out when I grab it to play- You know what I am talking about!

Problem Solved! See ya later Cardboard box!
(I stored all game boards in a box so they are all kept in one place)

Printed out some Labels

What's that boys? Oh you want to play Bionicles? Let me grab those really quick!

So Easy! I love it!

I am Thrilled with how this turned out!

Pretty dang amazing right!?!

I am still in Awe that this is a closet in my home-
and I keep going in and staring. totally normal right!?

Oh, before you go- you gotta check out Gallamore West's Kitchen Pantry
(Thank you Laurie for the 4-1-1 on those fantastic containers)

UPDATE: I had a reader ask what did I do with all the game boards? Well I did keep 1 nice big game box behind and have all the game boards stacked in that.

What a great idea to put the games in those boxes. This is totally a "Why didn't I think of that?" moment for me. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Angie- Awesome Question! I Forgot to add a photo of where I put them. I had about 7 boards that needed a place. I was going to just stack them (which you still can) But I had 1 Nice Box from the Mousetrap game (deep too) So I placed all the Board Games in that 1 box. I labeled it of course "GAME BOARDS"! Had to keep that Label thing going ya know! Thanks for the comment and question! -Jen

  7. i love the after, it makes it so much easier when the boxes are all the same size. i'm going to have to renew my costo card. i had no idea you could get a set of boxes for only $20, that is a good deal. our sons have the same set up with the basket full of guns and swords! lol

  26. What?! You kicked that mess to the curb girl! I need me some of those plastic bins!! That's a great way to do it. I feel like I'm in a Tetris challenge trying to get all the different-sized boxes to look tidy on a shelf. Good work!
