Birthday Party Idea: Going to the Movies!

Me- "Hey Aaron, what would you like to do for your 14th birthday party?"
A- "Just grab some friends and go to a movie"

And that my friends...was all I needed to hear.

Birthday Party Idea: Going to the Movies!

#1. Car {Teenagers love sweet wheels}
There was no way in heck I was just going to pick up his friends in a "plain-jane car".. nope!

Ladies and Gents... welcome aboard... The Party Bus:

DIY Party Bus: Movie Birthday Party

Special spot for the "Birthday Boy" whoop there it is!
Streamers, Birthday Sign all that crazy fun pizazz.. and boom.
The Party Bus was ready to Rock!

#2. Food {Teenagers love food}
I had Aaron ask his buddies what their favorite candy and soda was... Dollar Tree stop..and BAM!

We are set.
I just need to surprise the Birthday Boy {hope he likes the sweet ride}

He Loves it!

#3. Music {Teenagers love music}
102.7 blasting as we rolled on up to his friends houses..now this party is hip hoppin

Thumbs up from the Taxi Mom..oh and look- Aaron giving a Thumbs up as well!
That a boy!

Crazy kids..gotta love this gang!

Be good now..you hear?! I will be back at 12:30am {yep that says am, I am so earning cool mom points} to pick you up. Picked those crazies up...blastin' kids bop sweet tunes for the ride home, while Aaron opened up his gifts in the car. I have to say, if you are looking for a simple "going to the movies" birthday party idea..this is your ticket!

P.S. Did you miss Derek's 6th SHARK PARTY? That was jaw clenching fun!

  2. OMG! Are you the coolest Mom or what. Daphne turns 14 in Oct. I think I'll try this, but I'm so over protective. Either I'll have to sit in the back row or it will have to be a matinee! I bet he love this!!

  15. I can vouch for Ms. Venus here...she was pumping the jams as she came to pick up my son for the sweet ride to the movies. We had a quick little dance party in the driveway before they took off. Jen always goes the extra mile to spice things up. My son had a great time, and I'm so glad our boys are buds. :)
