Where is Jen Today?

So the question is, Where is Jen today?

a. At the beach
b. Heading to Hawaii
c. Hanging at Tattered & Inked
d. At Home Depot picking out flowers

Is that your final answer?

If you answered:

c. Hanging at Tattered & Inked

You are Correct! Ding Ding Ding!

Besides Hanging with the one of Coolest Chicks in the "Blog World"...
I am sharing a little something something!

Easy as Chicken Pot Pie

Yep! I got another Quick and Easy Dinner for you!

Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients:
3-4 Cooked Boneless Chicken Breasts
1 pkg. Deep Pie Crusts
1 pkg. frozen veggies
2 cans of Cream of Potato Soup
1 cup milk
Salt & Pepper

Shred up your cooked chicken.

Open up your pie crusts and set them out on the counter to thaw. Cook your veggies as you like {I microwave them for about 4-6 minutes}

Now place everything in with your chicken! Cans of soup, warmed up veggies, cup of milk and some salt and pepper. Mix it up!

Pour your mix into one of the pie crusts.

Place the other pie crust over on top.
Press the sides together, and slit the top of the pie.

Place your pie on a Cookie Sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Serve with french bread and a green salad!

Why I LOVE this Recipe:
1. No Pans to wash, throw that Pie Tin away!
2. Prepare in the morning/day and refrigerate until dinner time!
{cooking time may be a bit longer}
3. This is a great meal for those Dinner Sign-ups.
{You know for that mom who just had a baby!}
4. It literally takes me 10-15 mins. to throw this dinner together...

It really IS Easy as Chicken Pot Pie!

And I have to tell you, Mason my 9 year old Love's this so much...it is his standing request for his special Birthday Dinner...

Enjoy!

"Those Abs don't come for free!"

So now that I am 33, with no kids in my line up to suck out my extra weight.
{awesome perk to breastfeeding}
I am finding that I can't just eat what I want anymore. Like the rice crispy treat shows in my legs! Dang nab it! What happened?

Well...
It's ok, this getting older thing I guess.
And I can still eat what I want, I just have to work it now. Argh. Work.

I have heard great things and seen amazing results with the 30 Day Shred by Jullian Michaels- and figured for $6.99 what do I have to lose! {Hopefully 10 lbs and Gain some toned Abs} But ladies ... as she say's "Those abs don't come for free" No joke there! Today being my first day, I finished the 20 min. deal but holy cow...barely.

But, I can do this!

So I posted this on my Facebook
and had amazing comments and support! Many ladies are starting this Shred in the next couple of days as well!

I decided to create a "closed" group on Facebook for those who are starting this Challenge! That way we can motivate each other and just keep tabs on our progress! So if you are starting this 30 day Shred video in the next week or so, leave a comment below and I will add you to our awesome support group!

Until Next Time!

White Eggs & Baseball

Hello friends! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend with your family!

Question. How many times did your kids ask "When are we dyeing Easter eggs mom?"

Mine?
Still asking.
Why?

Well because they still look like this:

Now yes they are hard boiled- I was on the ball with that task.
The colorful part, not so on the ball... oh well.
Speaking of Balls!

Take me out to a ballgame you ask? Let's go!
See, this Easter was not our norm Easter Celebrating ways! FUN don't get me wrong..but out of the norm for us! {I didn't even do a Easter Egg hunt out of the norm} what the?

Don't worry ladies, I still managed to pull it together for the baskets! :)
Derek was up at jimminy Christmas early time 6:45am!
Down we went as everyone else still snoozed away! {He tried to wake his brothers up, no success}

Does your Easter Bunny hide your Baskets in funny places? Derek's basket was under a blanket!

Let's continue with our out of the norm Easter shall we?
Padres were in town, and well, Baseball is kind of a big deal in this house over here! So we decided to hit up a game on Easter!
We had a great time!

After Derek was done with that awesome sugar in a cup he was acting so silly.
Wonder why?

It was a different Easter this year, but we were together as a family and that's what made it a perfect Easter for us!

{the Dull White eggs are almost gone too}

How did you celebrate Easter this year?

So I had these 3 chairs on the side of my house that my husband could not stand! Finally I decided to do something with them! Steps are pretty basic up there, I did have to cut my legs down because these were those high chairs.
Also after spray painting, I used a matte finish to seal.
