School Secrets for a Successful Year!






Oh you all are in luck! I may or may not have done the "school thing" for 13 years--so I am here today to share with you what I have learned! Yes, I actually learned some very valuable information..too good not to share! So let's ring that School Bell and get this session going!

Too fun! Hope you enjoyed my secrets...let us go out like this: {our secret handshake} Mrs. Suzie had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell, ding.ding. Mrs. Suzie went to heaven the steamboat went to hell-O operator please give me #9 and if you disconnect me I'll kick you from behind the  frigerator there was a piece of glass, Mrs. Suzie sat upon it and broke her little ass-k me no more questions, tell me no more lies the boys are in the bathroom ............ _______________________________<---can you finish it?   2. I am trying sooooo hard to remember how the end of that goes, I think Suzie {comment above mine} got it!

    This is such a fun post...thank you for telling me it is okay to throw away the class work...whew, it just piles up! I'm going to do some sneaky clearing out in the morning ;)

    and great tip on the school pics too, my mother in law thinks I'm the devil because we don't buy them :P LOL!

  5. Oh, I can't remember but I think Heidi has it!

    Great tips - I especially like the praise and chuck theory for schoolwork - we used to have a School Yearbook - every year they got to keep up to 5 of their pieces, the book had a pocket for each year, a place for the class picture and their own photo - my kids still have them (they're 34 & 35 now) and it's fun to look back at their progress.

  11. SHOOT!!! For the life of me I can't remember that last line and don't want to look at the comments above to see the answer! LOVE the volunteering on Mondays idea ~ GENIUS!!!
    Also, I wish my kids were still little because I love your organization idea with the backpacks and homework - save A LOT of time hunting for papers, pencils, etc.
    Now I know why I love you so much, you're BRILLIANT....and funny! <3

    Just hopped over from "That's What Che Said". I took my daughter to lunch one day and the secretaries at school were flabbergasted. Never in all the years that they had been working had a parent shown up to take their child out just for lunch. "Is this legal?" and "Will she be coming back?" were the questions.

  17. I used to leave work and come have lunch with my sons at school whenever I could. All the other kids thought it was so cool. Then they hit 14 and, well, they become orphans :-( You know you always get my vote for coolest mom ever Jen! You create memories and THAT is what is important ♥
