It is finally here!
GYCO Posting day! I can't wait to see all the "Nutty" Recipes!
As much as I wanted to really get crazy with this ingredient, I have to say that turning on my oven was not going to be happening this week. It is too blasting hot here! So I went a "cool" route with this round!
Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Pumpkins

Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
1/2 cup peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies
1 "Old School" Fruit Roll up {sour apple flavor}
10 gumdrops {whatever color you want}
Melt butter on low in a deep saucepan.
Add marshmallows until melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter until throughly mixed.
Add rice kripies and stir until coated.
Next...
Easy as 1-2-3
And rocking the PB!
Don't forget to check out all the fantastic Peanut Butter GYCO links below!

Look at your little pumpkins. Too cute! I'm with you on the anti-oven wagon. I cooked the pizza at 9am so it wouldn't make me die from the heat.
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute! Makes me wish I had signed up for treats for Halloween in the kids' classrooms, instead of Christmas. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the little pumpkins and great idea using the fruit rollup for leaves. One of my Failed PB recipes was supposed to be Halloween themed :) Thanks for co-hosting the GYCO Challenge!

ReplyDeleteSuper cute Jen!
ReplyDeleteYou are not going to believe this but I also have the idea to make pumpkins out of rice krispies but bigger, more like the big fabric ones I've made. Wow. I'd love to have you come and share these at our Pumpkin Linky Party going on right now. It will be on all month long so hope you can make it. Linda No, I'm not making the rice krispy pumpkins. I decided they were too much work. :)
